One of the greatest pleasures for traveler is going from town to town and making own determination about where the place is better. I have slept and eaten in most of the towns I visited; taking notes on everything I ate and drank.

Much of my experience will be shared on this article, along with encouragement to go and discover these places for you. Do I have a favourite place? Of course, let me share my favourite tourist spot and you will probably figure out why it is on the top of my list.

Siargao Island : Surfing Cloud 9

The reason so many people around the world process a fondness for Surigao Del Norte is that they have been able to surf at cloud 9. The province is more popular by its Inland tours and Island Hopping Galore. As a result of numerous foreign visits to country’s most sights, the town planners divided the places into zones, giving the most popular beaches to priority.

To deepen your acquaintance with those ever-fascinating provinces, visit Siargao (shar-gaw) Island. Siargao Island is a tear-shaped Island in the Philippines situated 800 kilometres southeast of Manila in the province of Surigao Del Norte, and considered as the Surfing capital of beyond surfing for its idea of extreme fineness of a wave.

Bucas Grande Island: Sohoton Cove

Next on the list is the Sohoton Cove, just a boat ride from General Luna in Siargao Island. Sohoton Cove is one of the spot with outstanding nature views and natural resources. It does provide a certain kind of fancy views and terrain.

Dacu Island has done more than most in pristine water views for its emerald green colour and freshness and the powdery white sand. Each place has its own uniqueness, though they are emerged in one region. The island beach maintains the same idyllic environment and spots where you can lounge in a chair on the beach at sunset, instead of inside a covered beach houses.

Next is Naked Island, which is literally explain and describe itself as naked island, no trees around just a pure white sand. It is empty beaches where there are only sounds are birds chirping and waves against the shore. In your travels you will gradually come to realize how exceptional every island and place is. The beaches also easy reach to each other.

Next is the Mamon Island which is corals perfect snorkelling. Explore the slender island weighed down with the sea shells. These destinations make sense because they are all world class sights with great draws on all of these sources.

I fully understand that not everyone gets to travel as often as I do, but since life will be much more meaningful if you get to know a few places well instead of setting foots somewhere, I have chosen to make an effort to visit places as I can. I can think of half a dozen other islands off the top of my head but get the picture. Each has its own distinct atmosphere. It is hone to the most breathtaking stretch of beach I saw in the Philippines and possibly in Asia.

Surigao Del Note made lots of sense. The locals seem friendly and for the most part, very accepting of foreigners or local tourists visiting in. The place is gaining reputation as ecotourism destinations. Surigao Del Norte’s Island and beaches remain largely unexplored. To me, the beauty of Surigao is that it is either developed or undeveloped. Surigao has different kinds of island beaches to explore, so if you can’t find your perfect beach here you can’t find it anywhere.
