Why do we travel? Would you simply like to explore the world? Or you are simply depleted of your typical everyday life? There are the conspicuous answers, rest, indulgence, escape and excitement. Everybody has distinctive answers and reasons rely on upon their personality. We have that “need” and “thirst” of exploring places around us and go to places we are not acquainted with. Samuel Johnson said, “The use of traveling is to regulate imagination by reality, and instead of thinking how things may be, to see them as they are.” Agreeing with that statement I’ll say people do travel as our interest and our yearning to explore is an innate part of ones being. In any case, what triggers these longings? Do we travel to experience adventures, is it about change or is it more profound than that? Whatever that is all we need is to live it up.
Appreciate new experience and adventure. Imagine the infinite possibilities travelling experience can give us, climbing a mountain, walk along a sandy beach, seeing different parks and museum, trying different food, the people you meet and many more. As travel is more or less a matter of embracing things to the new and unfamiliar in the pursuit of pleasure and that we so called, adventure.
To escape and reduce stress. Travel gives you a chance to unwind and de-stress. It offers us a break from the norm, and that alone can inject you with energy. Yes travel could be stressful in its own way but it is a positive one not the kind of stress you have at home and work. It’s restorative to roll out an improvement from your day by day routine — doing as such keeps your psyche and body from stagnating.
Contemplating yourself. One of the great advantages of making a trip is having room to think and to find more about yourself, and make sense of where you need your life to go.
Whether you have to take a couple of weeks off to stay away from the anxiety of work or need time off to consider where your life is going, travelling ought to be your answer. Travel changes you. You never return from your trip without being a bit change and energised.
So how about you? Why do you travel?
